Free browser tool · no upload · no AI

Free Seamless Texture Generator

This free online texture maker turns a JPG, PNG, or WebP into a repeating image with local edge blending. Check the 3 × 3 preview, then save a 2K or 4K PNG. Small images are enlarged for export without adding detail. Results depend on the source image; the tool does not use AI to invent or repair details.

Make a seamless texture

Make a tileable texture

Your image stays in this browser. No upload, login, or AI call.

JPG, PNG, or WebP · up to 20 MB · 16 megapixels · 8192 px per side

A wider blend can hide more edge contrast and soften more detail near the tile borders.

3 × 3 tile preview

Preview is reduced for speed; exports process the original image.

Choose an image or generate the sample to see it repeated.

How to make an image tile seamlessly

  1. 01

    Choose an image

Select a JPG, PNG, or WebP from your device, or start with the browser-made sample.

  2. 02

    Inspect the repeat

The tool locally blends opposite borders. Use the 3 × 3 view to check the joins and adjust blend width.

  3. 03

    Download a PNG

Export a 2K or 4K long-edge PNG. The original image is resampled directly for export and processed with the same edge algorithm.

For repeating surface images

Prepare a flat repeating image for a material or background. Wood grain, stone, and fabric can work well when their lighting and composition are reasonably even across the edges.

The edge blend changes pixels close to the borders. A wider blend may reduce a harsh join while softening more detail. Strong shadows, perspective, or a prominent object crossing an edge can still create visible repetition.

What this tool does and does not do

  • • Image processing happens locally in this browser; this tool has no image-upload endpoint.
  • • It is a conventional pixel-blending algorithm, not AI generation or content-aware repair.
  • • It accepts images up to 20 MB, 16 megapixels, and 8192 pixels per side.
  • • It exports one PNG image. It does not create normal, roughness, or metallic maps.

Want to use an image while texturing a 3D model? Prepare your own GLB. AI generation requires sign-in and credits; the reference guides a new material and is not pasted onto the model unchanged.

Seamless texture FAQ

Does this seamless texture tool upload my image?

No. Image decoding, edge blending, previewing, and PNG export run in your browser. The tool does not upload your image or send it to an AI service.

Is the result made with AI?

No. This is a free image-processing tool. It blends pixels along opposing image borders locally; it does not generate new image content with AI.

Will every image become a perfect texture?

No. Edge blending makes opposite borders meet more smoothly, but it cannot remove every visible repeat or repair strong lighting, perspective, or large objects that cross an edge. Inspect the 3 × 3 preview and adjust the blend width.

What can I use the PNG for?

Use it anywhere a repeating 2D image is useful, such as wood, stone, fabric, and other surface materials. It is a flat image, not a complete PBR material set.

Can I use it as a reference for a GLB?

Yes. You need to prepare your own GLB. AI texturing requires a signed-in account and credits, and the reference guides a newly generated material rather than being applied as-is.
